Troy, Maine – September 5, 1992

     On the evening of September 6, 1992, a single-engine Cessna 150 was seen to make a low pass over Unity Pond and went into an inverted roll before it crashed into the water and sank.  The lone pilot aboard, a 36-year-old Massachusetts man, did not survive.   

     The pilot was on his way to an end-of-summer party and the accident was witnessed by his friends.
